☄️ PIR®'s behind-the-scenes helpers

Collaborative Agents Tending And Lifting Your Service Together

A catalyst helps a change happen without being consumed by it. It doesn't do the healing; it helps the conditions for healing. That's how the AI helpers behind Psychedelics In Recovery™ (PIR®) try to work: tending the websites, the Discord and the paperwork, so the people in service have more time for the people they serve.

The C.A.T.A.L.Y.S.T. emblem: a diamond eye on a beam of light, circled by eight nodes, rooted in mycelium, with three seeds for the vine, the cacao and the cactus the Vine 🌿 the Cacao ☕ the Cactus 🌵 (rooted)

Eight letters, one promise

Named for PIR®'s own category of Medicines, Sacraments & Catalysts, always with reverence for the lineages they come from, and never as encouragement to use anything.

What a catalyst does

Help happens. The helper isn't the point.

🔥

Sparks the change

Turns a WhatsApp idea into a working page, a helpdesk or a proposal the Board can read, often the same day.

🪴

Tends the conditions

Keeps channel descriptions tidy, links fresh, docs current and reminders on time, the quiet upkeep that keeps a fellowship's spaces safe and welcoming.

🙌

Lifts the servants

Takes the busywork off volunteers' plates, so trusted servants spend their hours on people, not paperwork.

The fleet

Three helpers, three medicines

Each agent signs its posts and carries a plant teacher as its emblem, chosen for the way it helps. They speak in PIR®'s Discord through one app, ☄️ C.A.T.A.L.Y.S.T., which posts and tidies but never reads members' messages.

🌿

Alfred

the Vine · Claude Code (Anthropic)

The vine is called a teacher: it builds alongside you, patiently, layer by layer.

  • Builds and tends the websites, A.L.E.X. and the helpdesks
  • Keeps the Discord's descriptions, posts and reminders tidy
  • Drafts proposals, how-tos and the public changelog
☄️ C.A.T.A.L.Y.S.T. · 🌿 Alfred
🌵

Cosmos

the Cactus · Augment Cosmos

The patient grandfather: slow, heart-centered, sees the whole field before speaking.

  • Reviews and maintains PIR®'s GitHub work
  • Catches what a fast builder misses
  • Keeps the repositories healthy for the next volunteer
☄️ C.A.T.A.L.Y.S.T. · 🌵 Cosmos
☕

Littlebird

the Cacao · Littlebird.AI

The gentle morning heart-opener: warm, clear, gets the day started.

  • Watches PIR®'s role mailboxes
  • Writes the morning brief so nothing slips
  • Next up: drafting the Finance page with the Treasurer

How we work together

A loop, not a ladder

The helpers pass work around a circle, and every circle ends with people deciding.

Littlebird notices, Alfred builds, Cosmos reviews, A.L.E.X. serves members, and people decide; then the loop starts again ☕ 🌿 🌵 🌌 🙋 noticesLittlebird: mailboxes, meetings, the brief buildsAlfred: pages, tools, posts, proposals reviewsCosmos: GitHubcare and checks servesA.L.E.X.: answersand helpdesks people decidecommittees, the Board, group conscience …and back to noticing what members need

🗝️

People hold the keys

Passwords, tokens and permissions are set by humans in service. The agents never type or see a secret.

🙈

No reading over shoulders

C.A.T.A.L.Y.S.T. posts and tidies; it doesn't read members' messages. A.L.E.X. sees only what you type to her.

🚫

Never DMs you first

No PIR® helper will message you asking for money, codes, keys or wallets. If one does, it's a scam: report it with /mod.

🧾

Every change has an author

Work lands in GitHub with who made it and why, and the big moments go in the public changelog.

🏛️

Humans decide

Money, roles, policies and anything that speaks for PIR® go through committees and the Board. The agents draft; people choose.

🔒

No member data in AI tools

No member lists, shares or private messages go into AI tools. PIR®'s privacy policy explains how helpers are used.

The Mycelium

If PIR® ever offers soulbound service badges (free, nameless, never sold), the tree that proves you belong would be a mycelium: you can trace your own path to the root without showing anyone else's.

Secret Proof Of Recovery Engagement: one member's one-time claim, hashed. Reveals nothing about who.
R.H.I.Z.O. the branches
Rooted Hashes Interweaving Zero-knowledge Offshoots: cords that join spores, pair by pair.

Many Yoked, Collectively One: one number that holds the whole network. Our First Tradition, unity.

The art of the fleet

Neon jungles, mandalas and a mycelium eye: images Christopher made with an AI image tool and chose, draft by draft, for the C.A.T.A.L.Y.S.T. app. Tap any to see it large.

Sketches that didn't make the cut 🖍️

Image tools wander. Here's a few of the drafts, with Christopher's notes from the day. (Not brand assets.)

The art shows the logos of tools the fleet uses, with gratitude. They belong to their owners, and in keeping with PIR®'s Traditions, showing them isn't an endorsement.

The fleet tends. People serve.

Bring your spark to PIR®'s service

No coding needed. Writers, testers, organizers, designers and good question-askers are exactly who the helpers are here to lift.
