Web3 desk (preview)

Not live. This page previews something PIR®'s Tech Committee is exploring, shared early so it's built in the open. There are no tokens, NFTs or wallets yet, nothing to buy, and PIR® accepts no money through it.

The idea

Blockchain tools can do something unusual for a fellowship built on anonymity: let a member prove they belong or have served without revealing who they are. The Web3 desk would be a calm, safety-first place to learn about that, starting on a test network where tokens have no monetary value.

  • A learning helpdesk: wallet safety, scams to avoid, and what "soulbound" means, through /web3 next to the other desks.
  • Service badges: non-transferable ("soulbound") tokens that quietly recognize service, such as serving as a GSR or helping at the convention. They carry no names, can't be sold, and the holder can burn them at any time.
  • The Mycelium: badges are proven with a privacy-preserving tree. Each claim is a S.P.O.R.E. (Secret Proof Of Recovery Engagement), joined by R.H.I.Z.O. branches (Rooted Hashes Interweaving Zero-knowledge Offshoots) up to a single M.Y.C.O. root (Many Yoked, Collectively One). You can show you're part of the network without showing anyone else.

Traditions first

PrincipleHow the design honors it
AnonymityBlockchains are public and permanent, so no names, photos or meeting data ever go on-chain. Claiming is opt-in.
Self-supportThe desk accepts no money. Giving stays in the 7th-tradition channel's PayPal link.
No endorsementTest network only, no PIR® coin, ever. Badges have no price.
Attraction, not promotionBadges recognize service quietly: no perks, ranks or hype.

Safety, always

  • PIR® will never DM you about wallets, seed phrases, tokens, airdrops or "investments". Anyone who does is a scammer: report them with /mod.
  • Never share a seed phrase or private key, with anyone, ever.
  • Any step beyond a test network needs a decision by PIR®'s Board.
