Kevin F, PIR BOD President - Report to PIR Intergroup - 11/16/24

It is with profound excitement that the Board announces that on October 10, 2024, the Department of Treasury of the United States Internal Revenue Service granted tax exemption to all contributions, bequests, devises, transfers, or gifts to Psychedelics in Recovery, effective December 4, 2023!

Kevin has also been researching potential pro bono services to assist in submitting a trademark application to the US Patent and Trademark Office.

Board members have continued to meet with the BSC to provide feedback on the book project, which has been very productive. A timeline on publication is not immediately clear at this point, but numerous options are being actively explored.

The Q4 Board meeting took place December 30, 2024, at 4pm PST/7pm EST.

In Grateful Service, Kevin F (Board President), Rick B (Board Secretary), Erin S (Treasurer), David L (Board Advisory).

This report sits at the hinge of the story: the moment PIR® became, in the eyes of the law, what it had already been in the hearts of its members. The Intergroup desk keeps the reports to IG; the who-is-who page keeps the people.
