The mobile menu now scrolls properly to reach every page

A follow-up to the previous mobile menu fix: once the menu button itself became reliable, a second issue turned up — on a real phone, the open menu wouldn’t scroll at all, making it impossible to reach items further down the list. It took a few real passes to actually pin down: a couple of individually-correct fixes along the way (a body-scroll lock, then fixing how often the menu’s own size was being recalculated) still weren’t the full story. The real cause turned out to be a shared CSS class name matching 33 different elements in the page instead of the one intended — a good reminder that a selector looking right isn’t the same as confirming what it actually matches. Found by inspecting the live page directly rather than guessing again, and confirmed fixed on Christopher’s own iPhone.

What changed

• The open menu now scrolls smoothly and reliably to reach every item, confirmed on a real phone.
• The background page no longer scrolls underneath the open menu — only the menu itself moves.
• The menu grows to fit a submenu’s expanding content first, and only becomes scrollable once it actually reaches near the bottom of the screen — rather than always having scroll room available even for a short menu.
• The menu button grows slightly when opened, and rounds evenly on all four corners.
• A deeper purple, matching the rest of the site.

Why it mattered

A menu that only shows its top few items isn’t really usable — this closes out the mobile navigation work with the menu genuinely working end to end, confirmed on a real device, not just visible.
