PIR® helpdesk · GitHub organization stewards

GitHubDesk

Instead of getting lost in a chat thread, your request becomes a private thread with the GitHub organization stewards and a tracked ticket like GH-12.

What this desk handles

Bring us these

  • Access requests for PIR®'s GitHub organization (by service role)
  • Problems with GitHub Pages sites, repos or automations
  • Ideas for PIR's open, public documentation

Something else? Ask A.L.E.X. first. Under any answer, Turn into a ticket suggests the right desk.

Open a ticket

Three steps

  1. Join PIR®'s Discord.
  2. Type and choose Problem or request or Idea or feedback.
  3. A private thread opens between you and the committee. Check on it any time with /ticket id:GH-12.
Every ticket's lifecycle

new→ claimed→ in progress→ resolved→ archived

Only the GitHub organization stewards can change a ticket's status. Resolved threads move to the channel's Threads → Archived list, and Reopen brings them back.
