The meeting
Tradition of the month: Tradition 4 - each group autonomous except in matters affecting other groups or PIR as a whole. A summary of the Intergroup meeting preceding this was given.
Old and new business
- GSR reports: is your meeting open or closed? Answers still outstanding from some meetings.
- Prism’s proposal: a mediation committee for the fellowship.
- Cheryl’s proposal: a name change for the Book Committee.
- Podcasts: the PR committee asked fellows to recommend recovery and/or psychedelics podcasts, and to flag conferences, seminars and festivals in their neighbourhoods.
- MAPS Denver, June 16-20, 2025: who is going? A WhatsApp group formed for coordination.
- Rotation: Anne’s commitment as IG and GSR committees chair reached 14 months and came due for rotation.
Reports and action items
- A new in-person PIR meeting in Berlin needed to be added to the calendar.
- Time-zone fixes for physical meetings, discussed in March, still open - so events appear at the correct local time.
