In memory of David L

Ticket #102161 - David L’s first contact with WPX, October 8, 2025. This is where Tech 2.0 began.
🚪 The first door
On October 8, 2025, a ticket appeared in the WPX queue titled simply “migrating a site.” Its author was David L, managing the psychedelicsinrecovery account. He asked how to bring both the main domain and the service subdomain to WPX - and when the answer came back that each site is its own migration, he took it in stride and filed them, one by one.
The next day came the formal migration request itself. Through the winter, his name keeps appearing exactly where the work was: the SSL certificate for publications that December, the domain transfer in January - where he patiently sorted out which A records lived where, screenshots attached, until the sign on the door matched the building.
🕯️ What he left us
Every fast page load, every secure certificate, every meeting that starts on time - the fellowship’s online home stands on ground David helped move us to. The records on this desk exist because people like David did the quiet work: filing the tickets, walking the support chats, carrying DNS records back and forth until things simply worked.
The sites he moved keep serving the fellowship every day. That is a legacy in the truest service sense - work done quietly, for others, that outlasts the doing.
🙏 A moment
This entry is shared with the fellowship as a way for us all to take a moment to remember the life of David L. If his work touched your recovery - a meeting you found, a page that helped you, a tool that was there when you needed it - that is his hand still reaching.
His memory now has a permanent shelf in the contacts page - the 🕯️ In loving memory section - where everyone who wove this story is gathered in one place.
In loving memory. Rest easy, David. Thank you for your service.
His story continues across this desk: the migration, the certificate, the domain coming home.
